Dear Mercy,

I thought you should know that Lillian is very concerned for your health. Several times an hour I'm petitioned to 'check on Merc' or 'check if Merc is feewing bettoh'. When you first got sick Lillian wanted to hold you, pet you, and give you kisses (like Mama gives her) to help your hurts. She desired no other position than next to you in the chair and repeatedly told you 'iss oh-kay' while she gently pet your back. While you were with the Vet she reminded me several times that 'Merc. at dah dogterr', as if I might forget and not bring you home. So, for the sake of my little girl (and her hormonal Mama), please feel better and stay around for a little bit longer.
