Pweesh!!!

I must confess that I have been hesitant to write of late. Why write when I can post a few pictures, make funny quips about said photographic situations, and save time for laundry or some other homemaking requirement? So, I post this as more of a plea, or a pweesh (please, for those of you who don't spend much time with a verbal, but not well enunciated one year old) for advice in the areas of cleaning, cooking, and other manifestations of mommy/wife-hood. Here's the sitch: I feel as if I am constantly in the kitchen, and yet it remains a mess! Other areas of my home frequently go unattended in my efforts to wash dishes, cook meals, feed Lillian, three dogs and a bird, and keep counters clear of all sorts of cluttering objects. My weekly reprieve, or catch-up day, is 'soup day', but I still rarely get past the kitchen or living room outside of one or two odd jobs. Any ideas on how to save time in the kitchen, or organize more efficiently so the rest of my home gets regular, if not weekly, attention? I'm up for anything you may think of. Do you have a great, quick casserole recipe? I'd love it! Have some theories on mopping, washing dishes or laundry that could save time? Post 'em! So, as I search for more time to post articles of greater interest to the populace, I'm looking forward to hearing every one's suggestions!

The September Edition...

Of what we've been up to...

We went to visit Paul's Grandpa in Kansas. We spent a lot of time in the pool.

We ate waffles all by our self and Mama played dress up.

Honey and Papa taught us silly games.

Lillian thinks Daddy's ring is pretty.

Mama and Eye-us (Titus).
Papa and Grandma came to visit.
With September almost over, I'm ready for balloons!

Living With A Celebrity

Do you see the resemblance?
It has led to some confusion.

On Rainy Days...

...I like to see what it's like to have more kids. This is how it went:

My youngest was easily distracted.

Logan got into mischief. Then felt bad about it,

And asked for forgiveness.

Titus minded his own business

Mercy vied for attention,

And helped with lunch clean up.

I didn't even have to ask.

Titus Qualifies 2 More!

What a dog! We haven't worked our shtuff in two months and he shows up with a Q and an easy second place. 'His mistake' was really mine when I stepped away from a jump and he followed me, as he has been trained. Later (as in almost 12 hours later) we ran a standard course and scraped a Q. We were both so tired and mushy of the brain we sort of fumbled our way through it. I was so certain we hadn't Q'd we packed up our camp and left without our ribbons and didn't find out until today that we squeezed by with 3 points to spare. One more Q in both Jumpers with Weaves and Standard and Titus will have his Novice Title and we move up into Open. What does this mean for everyone else who doesn't speak agility? We are getting better. At least Titus is...

Her Elvis Scarf

We had a clothing swap among a small group of ladies the other day, and among the floor-full of goodies there was a velvet & satin, lime-green scarf with sheer green pallettes (sp?). After there weren't any immediate takers, I chose to take it home as an addition to a dress-up box I'm putting together for Lillian. It didn't even make it to the box! She has taken to wearing it around the house as a daily accessory, or carrying it around as a shaker (the pallettes make a wonderful shaking sound). If it falls off her neck, she journeys from whatever toy or activity she was endeavoring to accomplish, and brings it to me, to be re-wrapped around her tiny, adorable neck. We call it her Elvis-scarf.
